In a multi-partnered effort, HWMO has utilized procedures and vital information from the national standards on post-fire response to create a guide specifically tailored for landowners and land managers working in the unique ecosystems found throughout the state of Hawaii. We've also added stabilization and restoration methods to the national standards for the guide.

This tool is designed to lead land managers through the steps of assessing a post-fire landscape. It is intended to be used as a means to better understand the primary considerations, resources, and actions related to post-fire stabilization and revegetation in the state of Hawaii.
